Modified Curbside Service

 

Modified Curbside Service Procedure:

  1. When you arrive for your scheduled appointment, park in one of the 15 designated spaces.

  2. Call (517) 784-1111 from your car to check in by phone.

  3. If you don’t have a cell phone, please notify our staff when you schedule your appointment so alternative arrangements can be made.

  4. When you call to check in, a staff member will connect you with a veterinary assistant or licensed veterinary technician to collect your pet’s medical history over the phone.

  5. Once the assistant or licensed veterinary technician (LVT) assigned to your appointment has everything ready, they will meet you at your vehicle to help escort you and your pet to your exam room.

  6. As we closely monitor the ongoing COVID-19 situation, our veterinary hospital has chosen to recommend, but not mandate, mask-wearing indoors for clients and visitors. This decision is informed by current public health guidelines and our evaluation of the community's risk level. However, our staff will continue wearing masks in our exam rooms due to frequent interactions with numerous individuals throughout the day.


We ask that anyone with a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or that may have been exposed to someone with these symptoms or another infectious respiratory disease (ex. Influenza) stays home. If your pet is in need of care for an illness or injury and you fall into one of these categories, please call our office so that we can devise a plan to safely see your pet without risking anyone’s health.

Medication & Pet Food Pick-Up

If you need to pick up medication or pet food, please text, call, or email us via the buttons below. Once the request has been authorized and filled, someone from our team will contact you to take payment over the phone. We will have your items and receipt prepared and placed in a self-serve pick-up location.

 

Boarding & Grooming Services

Our boarding and grooming services have continued, but drop-off and pick-up procedures are via modified curbside service*. Please call the Pet Resort at (517) 784-1112 when you arrive to begin the check-in or check-out process.

*We thank you for your patience and understanding. Through this process, we have discovered that dogs, cats, and humans have found waiting in their cars (weather permitting) much less stressful.

In order to assist all clients in a timely fashion and to minimize hold times, we ask that clients with non-urgent questions or appointment or prescription refill requests send a text message to (517) 305-8591 (this phone number does not receive calls) or email us via reception@mycrossroadsvet.com if they are able. A team member will answer questions and/or process text and email requests within 24 hours Monday through Friday.
